Creating a Rule in Microsoft Outlook
How to
create a rule in outlook to automatically move an email from a particular
sending to a specific folder
1. From Outlook – first you’ll need to create the folder that
you want the email to go into with the rule and right click on your inbox and
select “New Folder” from the menu:
2. Type in the name of the Folder to
send these specific emails from this co-worker or email address:
3. From your inbox –
click on an email from the Co-Worker or email address that you’re creating this
rule for. Right click to open the menu shown below. Select Rules and always
move option:
4. A menu will pop up that will allow
you to select the recently created folder to send these emails to and click “
OK “:
5. Now all emails from this email
address will go into the selected folder automatically:
